Yin & Nidra with Beth

Join Beth as she guides you through a series of poses to release tension followed by a relaxing meditation to help calm your mind and start your weekend on a positive note! Yin Yoga is a passive, meditative practice intended to address the body's connective tissue to improve mobility and energetic flow. It is a mostly floor-based practice and poses are usually held for 2 to 5 minutes each. Although it is similar to Restorative yoga in some ways, the main difference is that you are likely to feel some sensation or stretching with Yin, instead of the total surrender of effort that comes with Restorative. Yoga Nidra, or "yogic sleep," is a type of guided meditation that promotes deep relaxation. This practice is done lying down in savasana or any other comfortable position where you can fully relax.

Winter Solstice Movement Meditation

Join us for this special 75-minute workshop, timed perfectly to honor the deep, inward energy of the Winter Solstice—the longest night of the year. This practice blends mindful Yoga Movement Meditation with profound stillness, inviting you to rest, reflect, and renew as the light begins its return.

What to Expect:

We will utilize the energetic structure of the mandala to gently travel through the four cardinal directions (North, South, East, West) of the sacred space we hold on our mats. This meditative repetitive sequence using mudras is designed to cultivate presence, balance, awareness and stimulate the body's main energy centers, the chakras. 

The flow will focus on integrating the body, mind, and spirit, helping to clear stagnation and harmonize your internal state in preparation for the coming cycle.

The journey culminates in a significant, restorative rest period. Using props for ultimate comfort, you will be guided into a state of deep surrender—a time to truly 'honor the darkness'—allowing the body's natural healing and integration processes to take hold before the return of the sun's energy.

We’re hosting a Clothing Swap at Yoga Lee and honestly… it’s really just an excuse to gather, clean out the things that no longer feel like you, and maybe find a few gems that make you feel amazing.

Bring a handful of gently loved clothes or accessories you’re ready to let go of, lay them out on our swap racks, and then browse what everyone else brought. No pressure, no item-for-item rules, no perfection required. Just a fun, feel-good way to refresh your wardrobe while hanging out with the Yoga Lee community.

How It Works

• Bring 5–15 items in great condition
• Drop them off + take your time browsing
• Try things on, get opinions, hype each other up
• Take home whatever you love

Anything leftover goes to a local donation spot so it all continues to find new homes.

A deep dive into the wands and cups

Each suit is assigned an element, and playing into numerology and imagery we can tell exactly what the cards are trying to say. In this class we will take a deep dive into the duality of the suit of cups and suit of wands to better understand how these opposite cards can sometimes be the fire-y creative passion we need, or the cool calming dip to feel ourselves fully, but can also coexist into a wonderful message. We will play around with examples of how these cards can show up in different positions, how there can be fluidity yet unpredictability when they arrive, and become better versed at reading these cards for ourselves or for others.

This class is all about building confidence and honing in the intuition to flow through the cards easier and feel less like we are reaching for the book.

While this is level 3, and it is recommended to take Tarot I and II before hand, if you feel versed enough in tarot and are looking for a refresher or a better understanding for yourself, you are welcome to sign up. Please note that if you do so we will only be focusing on these suits in this class, and questions involving other parts of the deck will not be prioritized.

have you ever wanted to freely flow and read the cards without feeling like you have to reach for a book?  This class will focus on learning how The Fool journey's through the card, touching on how to read imagery, incorporate basic numerology structure, and talk about the elements surrounding the suits to boost your confidence in Reading your own deck whether it's for personal growth, or something you would like to pursue in the future as a tarot reader.  This class will also be hands on, and we will have plenty of time to practice reading decks in the group, opening up discussions, and touching on other techniques to easily read the cards in front of us.  Each person attending this class should plan on bringing their favorite tarot deck and a note book to take down any useful information that resonates with them.

Although it is similar to Restorative yoga in some ways, the main difference is that you are likely to feel some sensation or stretching with Yin, instead of the total surrender of effort that comes with Restorative. Yoga Nidra, or "yogic sleep," is a type of guided meditation that promotes deep relaxation. This practice is done lying down in savasana or any other comfortable position where you can fully relax.
