Yin & Nidra with Beth

Join Beth as she guides you through a series of poses to release tension followed by a relaxing meditation to help calm your mind and start your weekend on a positive note! Yin Yoga is a passive, meditative practice intended to address the body's connective tissue to improve mobility and energetic flow. It is a mostly floor-based practice and poses are usually held for 2 to 5 minutes each. Although it is similar to Restorative yoga in some ways, the main difference is that you are likely to feel some sensation or stretching with Yin, instead of the total surrender of effort that comes with Restorative. Yoga Nidra, or "yogic sleep," is a type of guided meditation that promotes deep relaxation. This practice is done lying down in savasana or any other comfortable position where you can fully relax.

All levels are welcome.

Somatics & Magic

Somatics & Magic

Your body already knows things your mind hasn't caught up to yet.

Somatics & Magic is a 75-minute somatic movement class designed to wake up the systems that keep you feeling good from the inside out — your lymphatic flow, your nervous system, your fascia, your breath. No yoga experience required. No flexibility required. Just a willingness to show up and get a little curious about what's happening under the surface.

We'll move, shake, breathe, and rest: working with the body's own rhythms rather than pushing against them. Expect fluid movement, intentional stillness, lymphatic activation, nervous system nourishment, and the kind of deep reset that reminds you what it feels like to actually live in your body.

This isn't a workout. It's not a yoga class. It's an hour and fifteen minutes of coming home to yourself.

Led by Dr. Kerry, Doctor of Physical Therapy and somatic movement educator, this class draws on the latest in body science and translates it into something you can actually feel.

You belong here if: You're tired, wired, disconnected, or just curious. No mat experience needed — just show up as you are.

$35 for non members, $25 for members

Your Nervous System & Yoga
Jun

Your Nervous System & Yoga

You already know yoga works. But do you know why?

This workshop goes beneath the surface of practice to explore the science your body has been running all along — and how yoga, when understood through that lens, becomes less of a routine and more of a conversation with your own physiology.

Dr. Kerry — Doctor of Physical Therapy, Herman & Wallace pelvic health specialist, and 500-hour yoga teacher — brings together neuroscience, somatic awareness, and embodied practice to explore how your autonomic nervous system shapes every breath, every hold, and every moment of stillness on the mat.

We'll cover:

  • How the autonomic nervous system works and why it matters in a yoga context

  • Polyvagal theory and what it actually means for how we regulate (and dysregulate)

  • The specific effects of breath, movement, and stillness on your nervous system

  • Why some practices restore you — and why some secretly keep you stuck in stress

Then we'll feel it. This isn't a lecture. You'll experience each concept in your body, bridging real science with real sensation.

This workshop is for you if: You're a yoga student who wants to understand your practice at a deeper level — or a yoga teacher ready to bring more intentionality and clinical grounding to how you sequence, cue, and hold space. No prerequisites. All bodies, all levels, all welcome.

$65 for non members, $55 for members

It is a mostly floor-based practice and poses are usually held for 2 to 5 minutes each. Although it is similar to Restorative yoga in some ways, the main difference is that you are likely to feel some sensation or stretching with Yin, instead of the total surrender of effort that comes with Restorative. Somatic Finger Painting For Adults

Somatic Finger Painting For Adults

This simple finger painting practice helps shift you from overthinking to sensing.

If you’re stuck in a creative rut or stuck in your head this workshop is for you. Break free from caring about what it looks and enjoy what it feels like painting with your finger(s).  Embody your childlike freedom of exploration and let yourself get a little messy. Adults need to be reminded how to be in our bodies, kids know no other way.

Starting with a few dollops of paint and one finger we notice temperature, texture, viscosity, pressure, color and breath. We’ll explore different prompts and adding in other digits while staying safely contained by our canvas and capacity.

Using gentle movement and sound vibrations to help us shift from thinking to feeling we’ll tune into and cultivate our interoception, or what’s happening inside our body. After 30 minutes of grounding through movement and sound we’ll move to expression of our inner state.

Moving with and through sensations we allow whatever comes out on the paper to flow through us not be directed by us. This isn’t about the final product as you will be invited to work with quantity over quality in your painting practice. Your work here is simply a visual representation of your feelings and awareness of what happens when you let creating come from being present in your body at any given moment.

Class format:

20 minutes of grounding breath and gentle movement

15 minute sound bath

45 minutes of painting

30 minutes of integration and reflection with snacks

All art supplies will be provided. Bring a yoga mat and a cup for tea. We also have mats and cups available.

Pelvic Floor 101

Pelvic Floor 101: Supporting Strength and Ease

Leaking when you laugh or run. Pelvic pain. A sense of heaviness or tension you can’t quite explain. Confusion about whether you should be “strengthening” or “relaxing.”

This introductory workshop is designed to take the mystery and shame out of pelvic floor health and replace it with understanding, choice, and practical tools you can actually use.

In this 2-hour experience at Yoga Lee, we’ll explore how the pelvic floor works as part of your whole system including breath, posture, movement, and nervous system tone. You’ll learn why tight doesn’t always mean strong, why “just do Kegels” isn’t the answer for everyone, and how yoga can either support or aggravate symptoms depending on how it’s practiced.

Expect a blend of clear, accessible education and gentle, yoga-informed movement. No internal work. No medical exams. Just evidence-informed guidance, embodied practice, and space for questions.

You'll Learn:

  • What the pelvic floor actually does and why it matters

  • How breath and pressure management affect symptoms

  • Common myths that keep people stuck

  • Simple practices to support strength and ease

  • How to know when yoga helps and when you may need additional support

This Workshop Is For:

  • Anyone curious about pelvic floor health

  • People experiencing leaking, pain, tension, or heaviness

  • Postpartum and perimenopausal bodies

  • Active humans, athletes, and yoga students

  • Anyone who wants a better relationship with their core beyond aesthetics

This Workshop is NOT:

  • A medical evaluation or diagnosis

  • Internal pelvic floor work

  • One-size-fits-all advice

You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of your body, practical tools for daily life, and reassurance that your symptoms make sense and are not a personal failure.

DATE: Sunday, April 12th 3-5pm

PRICE: $55 if you sign up by March 31st. $65 after March 31st

• Bring 5–15 items in great condition
• Drop them off + take your time browsing
• Try things on, get opinions, hype each other up
• Take home whatever you love

Anything leftover goes to a local donation spot so it all continues to find new homes.

The Vibe

Think: tea, cozy music, sweaters, laughter, that “OMG this looks amazing on you” energy. It’s low-key, zero-stress, and open to everyone. Come as you are, bring what you can, and let’s make it a feel-good afternoon together.

Winter Solstice Movement Meditation
Dec

Winter Solstice Movement Meditation

Join us for this special 75-minute workshop, timed perfectly to honor the deep, inward energy of the Winter Solstice—the longest night of the year. This practice blends mindful Yoga Movement Meditation with profound stillness, inviting you to rest, reflect, and renew as the light begins its return.

What to Expect:

We will utilize the energetic structure of the mandala to gently travel through the four cardinal directions (North, South, East, West) of the sacred space we hold on our mats. This meditative repetitive sequence using mudras is designed to cultivate presence, balance, awareness and stimulate the body's main energy centers, the chakras.

The flow will focus on integrating the body, mind, and spirit, helping to clear stagnation and harmonize your internal state in preparation for the coming cycle.

The journey culminates in a significant, restorative rest period. Using props for ultimate comfort, you will be guided into a state of deep surrender—a time to truly 'honor the darkness'—allowing the body's natural healing and integration processes to take hold before the return of the sun's energy.

Come home to yourself, travel the sacred circle, and embrace the power of the longest night to emerge feeling renewed and ready for the returning light.

Date: Sunday, 4 pm December 21, 2025
Duration: 75 minutes
Price: $40
